Description

  • Arrange, control, monitor and safe-keep of physical credit files, physical collaterals, guarantees and support documentation
  • Ensure all requested signature, loan conditions, collateral, guarantees and documentation are fulfilled before granting or amending a credit limit on the core banking system
  • Open and update credit files and credit limits into the Core Banking System as per credit committee’s decision
  • Produce loan documentation with the assistance of the Risk Manager and the legal counsellor
  • Perform accounting entries on the banking core system for collateral and guarantees
  • Monitor collaterals and guarantees values and report the devaluation
  • Manage and settle LPO’s
  • Generate daily, monthly and quarterly reports to monitor unpaid amounts, expired facilities, expired documentation and overdrawn accounts
  • Follow up on classified accounts
  • Collect and update the data on the core banking application to monitor a single borrower risk or a group of borrower’s risk by tracking the different related exposure
  • Perform quarterly statistics to monitor the bank credit portfolio in terms of limits, exposure, collaterals, economic sectors, currencies and country of risk and report any concentration or significant deviations identified
  • Prepare monthly loan portfolio situation
  • Prepare Default Statistics showing defaulted customers with details on the default date, reason, collateral, collateral value, exposure default, provisions taken by the bank, recovered amount and losses
  • Prepare and update a watch list of the customers
  • Monitor the maximum regulatory lending limits by borrower and group of borrowers
