Sr.Rebar Detailer/Structural Draftsman

Re-Bar Detailer/Project Coordinator
• Prepare detailed drawings for concrete reinforcement of civil Engineering structures such as
residential/commercial buildings, malls, bridges, tunnels etc.,
• Prepare bar bending schedule (BBS) out of drawings and import it to the system to generate
bar tags to execute production of bars
• Study and analyze civil, architectural and structural design drawings to extract data for
detailing of specific members of structure such as foundation, slab, beam,
Column, wall etc.,
• Communicate with civil design engineers, project managers to raise and clarify any
discrepancy found in the drawings and visit sites for client meetings.
• Liaise between engineering department and production department and plan to prioritize
orders and prepare “Daily Production Schedule” optimizing the maximum capacity of
machines and equally balancing client requirements.
• Coordinate with construction managers from sites (clients) to arrange deliveries.
• Use macros to import BBS (Excel Format) directly in to the Armaor system.
• Ensure that drawings and bar bending schedules comply with British standards
BS8666:2005
• Support “sales department” with estimation/technical know-how and estimation of the new
projects.
